Preventing Burnout: Building Resilience & Healthy Self-Care Practices
This workshop assists clinicians to recognize signs of compassion fatigue, and to develop their own resilience plan to serve as a healthy counterbalance for high-stress, high-demand, high-risk work. The training examines individual and institutional/systemic strategies to support resilience and healthy coping.

Learning Objectives:
Define the concept of compassion fatigue/burnout Develop insight into signs/symptoms that may indicate burnout
Introduce resilience skills and healthy self-care practices to mitigate the risk for compassion fatigue

Important notes regarding CEUs and Attendance:
•Each participant must submit an individual registration to receive CEUs. Please do not share your unique Zoom webinar link.
•CEUs will be awarded to attendees that participate in the full webinar, which will be automatically recorded by Zoom upon your arrival to and departure from the webinar. Partial credit will not be awarded, with no exceptions. Be sure to plan ahead so that you are logged into the webinar on time.
•CEUs will be reported to CE Broker within 30 days for those who provide their license numbers upon registration or when completing the post-course evaluation.

Arianna Galligher, LISW-S
Associate Director @STAR Trauma Recovery Center and Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs
Arianna Galligher, LISW-S is the Associate Director of the STAR Trauma Recovery Center and Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs at OSU Harding Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She has an extensive clinical background across multiple settings, serving both adolescents and adults. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2005 at Ohio State University where she also currently teaches part-time. Years spent working with people living with HIV/AIDS, trauma survivors, women, youth, and the LGBTQ community have served to reinforce the importance of humor, compassion, empowerment, honesty, diversity, individual expression, and community building in her work.
