Nicole Arnold, PhD is an Assistant Professor and Food Safety Field Specialist with an appointment in Ohio State University Extension, as well as the Department of Food Science and Technology. She supports consumers, food handlers, and other educators through food safety education and risk communication efforts.
Peggy Kirk Hall
Agricultural & Resource Law Field Specialist @OSU Extension
Peggy Kirk Hall is an associate professor and attorney specializing in agricultural and resource law. She directs OSU Extension's Agricultural & Resource Law Program, a research-based outreach program. Hall regularly teaches and authors publications on home-based and farm-raised food laws.
Emily Marrison
Extension Educator, Family and Consumer Sciences @OSU Extension
Emily Marrison is the Family and Consumer Sciences Educator for OSU Extension in Coshocton County, Ohio where she focuses on food safety, product development, and selling home-based foods. Emily holds a BS and MS in Food Science and Nutrition from OSU and previously worked as a flavor technology scientist at Abbott Nutrition in Product Research and Development in Columbus, Ohio.
Garth Ruff
Beef Cattle Field Specialist @OSU Extension
Garth Ruff is a graduate of the Department of Animal Sciences at Ohio State, earning a BS in 2015 and MS in 2017. He has specialized in livestock production and marketing, farm management, and meat science. His current Extension research and teaching efforts include direct marketing of animal products, forage and field crop trials, e-Barns, and the OSU Extension Grill Smart program (a course looking at the science of great grilling).
