ABC's of MAT: Introduction to Medication-Assisted Treatment

This session will discuss the overall application of MAT, diagnostic criteria for Opioid Use Disorder, identify the different types of FDA approved medication, risks/benefits of each and discuss next steps for participants as they leave the training and ways to improve their agencies, communities through actionable steps.

Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will learn diagnostic criteria for Opioid Use Disorder
2. Participants will learn basic concepts of the application of MAT and the different types of FDA approved medication used in this approach.
3.Participants will examine own biases/values of MAT and learn overall benefits and outcomes of Medication-Assisted Treatment .

Important notes regarding CEUs and Attendance:
•Each participant must submit an individual registration to receive CEUs. Please do not share your unique Zoom webinar link.
•CEUs will be awarded to attendees that participate in the full webinar, which will be automatically recorded by Zoom upon your arrival to and departure from the webinar. Partial credit will not be awarded, with no exceptions. Be sure to plan ahead so that you are logged into the webinar on time.
•CEUs will be reported to CE Broker within 30 days for those who provide their license numbers upon registration or when completing the post-course evaluation.
