Paula L. Bennett (BSBA ’71)
Retired President and CEO @J. Jill
Paula Bennett is a highly experienced CEO, COO and independent public company board member from the retail industry, with proven success at creating brand value and driving profitable growth across omni-channel platforms. She has an excellent record at building portfolio companies for public and private owners and private equity investors, having led the successful IPO of J. Jill in March 2017. Paula serves on the board of At Home and its Nominating & Governance Committee. Paula is a member of select women’s business and leadership organizations, including Women Business Collaborative, Committee of 200, Women’s Forum of New York, Golden Seeds, and Paradigm for Parity. She serves on the board and Human Capital Committee of WIN, the largest provider of services for homeless women and families in New York City. She is an active member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
Ami Scott (BSBA ’94, MBA ’94)

Ami Scott is a native of Beavercreek, Ohio, and is a proud Air Force brat. She earned her BSBA and MBA from Fisher and her JD from The University of Michigan. She is a past member of Fisher’s Alumni Board and the President’s Club Advisory Board at Ohio State. Ami currently serves as a Fisher Ambassador in Washington, D.C., and is a past recipient of Fisher’s Diversity Business Award, Young Professional Achievement Award and a Pace Setters Executive Award. Ami is a finance partner in the D.C. office of the law firm Schiff Hardin LLP, and is a member of the Illinois and Washington, D.C. bars. She represents borrowers and financial institutions in domestic and cross-border lending transactions, including acquisition financings, working capital facilities and private placements. She is considered a leading banking and finance lawyer in Illinois by Chambers USA, and was included in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
