Person Centered Care
Stigma surrounding mental health conditions and substance misuse permeates our society. Unfortunately, even well trained clinical providers are not immune to stereotypes leading to adverse impacts for an already marginalized population. This program will explore practical ways to combat stigma including a person centered approach while enhancing awareness of implicit bias towards individuals dealing with mental health conditions and/or substance misuse.
