Identity and Education Abroad (Part 2)
Have you ever considered how your social identities (race, class, gender, etc.) influence how you navigate your experiences abroad? In collaboration with Education Abroad, EHE's Office of Equity, Diversity, and Global Engagement (EDGE) invites you to participate in this two-part workshop where attendees will learn the importance of understanding social identities, how social identities shape relationships with different host communities while abroad, and how social identities contribute to issues of power, privilege, and oppression.

Note: Part 1 is on Tuesday, November 17th at 2:30 p.m. and requires a separate registration

Presenter: Neal McKinney M.Ed, EDGE Graduate Research Associate and Ph.D. Student in Higher Education and Student Affairs
