How do we log onto the Qualtrics website- do we need to create an account first?
Debby Lewis

as an employee you have a student trial account. I can send you an upgrade code for a standard account.
Shannon L Smith

Does Qualtrics have an option to set up the same question 2 different ways based on Mobile or Desktop use? Does it automatically base the view based on the type of device?
Debby Lewis
01:13:13
@Kay, I think Brian just answered your question? let me know if you want him to provide more clarification.
Kristi Lekies
01:13:17
Is it possible to set up a retrospective pre-post question format through Qualtrics?
Shannon L Smith
01:19:40
Once we do a qualtrics survey, how do we gain access to the information that was answered in the survey ?
Katie Schlagheck
01:20:16
With the side by side, how does that data show up? We may get to that later...
Debby Lewis
01:23:33
@shannon, Brian will be showing how he got the Excel file.
Amy Kohmetscher
01:29:18
@Kay, so if you wanted to design a survey that adjusts the view to device used, display logic could make it happen

For those unable to attend yesterday’s training, it’s now up on our recorded training webpage and YouTube! https://extension.osu.edu/lod/covid-19/recorded-trainings

Does Qualtrics let you know if one of the email addresses is no longer active or bounces back?
Pat Holmes
01:36:04
Thanks for putting the recordings up for us to access later.

Can the contact list be Excel or does it need to be .csv?
MImi Rose
01:37:42
Debbie, can I get a standard account for a graduate student - her project is a survey.
Debby Lewis
01:38:12
the goal for using individual email addresses is to increase the response rate. Also, if you already have information about a respondent, then you shouldn't ask the question. For example, the "years of service" Brian is talking about now.
Debby Lewis
01:39:33
in case I was breaking up...you can export as either Excel or CSV. Excel can open either file type.

01:41:53
Are there any "cheat Sheet" documents that can be printed for future reference?
Kay Kramer
01:49:51
For the free text response, is there a way to group by common words? A group talking about salt, fats, etc
Kay Kramer
01:52:15
Are the points assigned within Qualtrics? Or did you do that in the Word document?
Debby Lewis
01:53:52
@SPearson, we don't have "cheat sheets" created as of now, but Qualtrics has a very healthy HELP section.
Debby Lewis
01:55:20
to use the help section in Qualtrics, you will need to be logged in and then use the SSO login to access that section of the Qualtrics website (when asked for "organization" type "osu).

MImi Rose
02:01:23
Amy if the software is the best way to analyze the graduate student project we spoke to you about a week or two ago, we're interested - Mimi Rose
Amy Elhadi
02:02:58
