If you place something of the appropriate size first to set the stage, can you edit it out later to start with what you want?
Debby Lewis
29:57
Danae, does pexels.com also offer "free" audio/music clips? or where can we find something like that?

I am already thinking this is better than spark for a longer video as a source file. Is that accurate?
Kelli Trinoskey
32:09
Better than iMovie?
Diana Unger
32:37
I will be trying this. Thank you.
Rachel Stoneburner
33:02
Is there a size limit with Rush? Like after so many clips you are cut off.
ruisch.2
33:37
You may have already mentioned this, but can you explain how OSU employees can access and download this program?
Debby Lewis
33:57
Ohio State employees have access to the Adobe Creative suite free to download.
Diana Unger
37:13
I may have missed it... per "slide", is the max video clip length 30 sec?
Debby Lewis
39:18
@Jennifer Ruisch, we'll either have her explain how to download Adobe Creative Cloud, or we'll type some instructions in the chat shortly.
Diana Unger
39:20
thank you
Ben King
39:29
does the color correction only apply to the highlighted clip?
Ashley Kulhanek
40:03
Diana- Adobe Rush is a true video editing software. Adobe Spark is a way of creating video from “slides” video clips and photos in a simple way. Spark is not necessarily a video editing software.
Diana Unger
40:44
probably jumping ahead, but on text settings, can you select Proxima Nova and brand colors?
Ashley Kulhanek
41:43
Danae- do you first have to activate Proxima nova in your cloud settings for it to appear within each of the ADOBE products?
Diana Unger
44:12
I did not have to do anything to get the right font in adobe

45:47
When you get a chance, would you mind walking through how to overlay text over the video?
W. Klooster
46:12
Does this allow picture in picture? Like a normal perspective, but then an overhead view as a small inset?
W. Klooster
47:18
perfect. thanks!
Debby Lewis
47:36
cool though! (PIP)
Doug Foxx
48:48
HI Dane - is it possible to do your basic editing and layout in Rush but then move it into Premiere Pro to do something more advanced?
Doug Foxx
51:48
Ok thanks!
W. Klooster
51:51
If you film a video that contains audio, are those files automatically upload separately to Rush? Or when you edit the video are you also simultaneously editing the audio?
W. Klooster
52:47
great. Thank you!

What if we wan the audio from one clip to continue over several video clips, like a voiceover?
W. Klooster
56:00
Is that an undo arrow in the top right?
W. Klooster
56:18

ruisch.2
01:06:58
Can we add text over the clip without the white background? Or any background?
Amy Kohmetscher
01:07:04
@Nancy, are you talking about a photo of a recipe card?

It's the Zoom settings. You have to share computer sound.
W. Klooster
01:14:35
So how would you provide attribution for the sound clip (you said most clips required that)

01:14:40

Where did you make the white graphic from again?
Debby Lewis
01:16:49
you make it look so easy!!

01:20:32
How can we caption for accessability?
Doug Foxx
01:20:41
This is really helpful Danae - I have always bungled my way through Premire Pro - but I could really see myself doing a lot more in Rush and then just going to Premiere for my longer more complicated projects.
Sarah Carpenter
01:20:48
When should we brand a video vs not? or should we brand everything (ie put the in.out screens on all)
Katie Schlagheck
01:21:13
that's what I thought thanks!

Thank you I always learn a lot.

And when you brand, you have to send it to branding first before publishing, correct?
