LOD Support Webinars - Shared screen with speaker view
is canva provided by OSU
yes, and for blogs
Are those color settings available on the CFAES brand webpage
or do they automatically appear in the selection tool
the premium codes
to request brand team approval of your product email CFAES_BAT@osu.edu
Yes, please - connect with BAT to double check if you have any questions on images! :-)
Tip: Download all the brand assets to your computer and rename them to something that’s easily searchable. This way, you’ll have easy access to all your brand files in one place.
You can download all the brand art (buckeye leaves, nuts, etc.) here: https://brand.osu.edu/art/
be sure to select a png image file instead of a jpg. A png has a transparent background.
Sorry, can you show where the ungroup button was again?
Ungroup is along the top menu when you have a grouped item selected on your canvas.
It's fine, I just missed that one!
Where are these recordings of the trainings posted?
Recordings of LOD trainingshttps://extension.osu.edu/LOD/covid-19/recorded-trainings
How were you able to group the elements together?
Nevermind ^ I figured it out :)
does every post have to be branded on our social media sites?
50th Anniversary of Earth Day!
SOCIAL MEDIA BRANDING TIPSSocial media post images do not require brand approval. The tag and logo are not required to be on images posted to social media.Try to select a strong image that conveys the content of your post and use the text area of your post for details. Embedding text information into an image does not comply with ADA guidelines and makes it difficult for people who use screen readers to get the information they may need.Your department/unit/program identity should be promoted in your cover photo and in your page posts.
I have been working on a flyer with canva is there away to share this with agencies to post on their social media sites?
I wouldn't post the full flyer as a social media image, but creating a separate image for Facebook or Twitter and sending that along with the full flyer would probably be appreciated.
I agree with Christina. Design principles say create a graphic announcing the basics and then link to the flyer on your website.
I have asked the BAT again about the tag width, but didn't get an answer yet
How do you feel about video vs gif for these kinds of short video-type things?
That is the problem I keep having when removing stuff
Will you continue these 1pm LOD drop-in trainings next week?
LOD drop-in training schedulehttps://extension.osu.edu/LOD/covid-19/training
it's also just hard to read on mobile devices
I use go.osu.edu links for flyers
so a link in a canva-designed post would be clickable?
Thanks so much! I really appreciate these training sessions!
Quick question about art elements from the CFAES brand at https://brand.cfaes.ohio-state.edu/guidelines/brand-guidelines/graphic-elements/art-elements -- Why are some of the art elements missing ie- Brutus, We Sustain Life Badge -- OHIO -- kind of related to this
