I am having audio problems on my end at the present time
Gwen Soule
23:15
Ed, you may want to disconnect from the computer audio and connect by calling in instead.
Gwen Soule
23:48
The computer audio is sometimes rough if your internet connection isn't great.
Teresa Johnson
24:06
Will a document be sent out on how to do all of this or must I take detailed notes?
Jeffery Dick
24:39
Yes- we will send detailed info
Shannyn Robertson
26:29
4-hshootingsportscollege.com
Laryssa Hook
30:02
Are Educators the admins or our county coordinator - or both?
Ed Clawson
30:14
I am now on audio via phone
Andy Hudak.65
30:20
As I try to set up an account, I can't see a spot for the county.
Kay Kramer
31:44
Can there be only 1 person per county?
rockey.16
31:44
Who do we email our Admin info to., what email address?
angie holmes
32:02
Can you describe what it means to be the "county administrator"
angie holmes
32:54
thank you
Kay Kramer
33:33
Currently the volunteers just fill out a form and send to Larry to sign up for the training. Will that be a different process then?
Kay Kramer
33:51
Only one admin per county?
Aubry Fowler
37:38
Do they have to do this training before each in person training?
Jenna Hoyt
37:42
Has there been discussion about a portion of this being paid via State funds as it is required by Ohio 4-H?
Jackie Krieger
37:47
how often does a volunteer need to take this?
Jenna Hoyt
38:32
Is this cost in addition to the registration fee for Canter's Cave? Or will there be a reduced rate for the face-to-face portion now?
Gwen Soule
40:17
Will everyone be required to do this even if they already did "green injection" at face to face trainings? For s, that initial investment will be over $800.
Aubry Fowler
41:02
Thank you
Beth Boomershine
41:11
Who decides if a "county coordinator" volunteer gets access? Is it automatic?
rockey.16
42:15
So do current instructors/volunteers have to take this, or only new volunteers trying to get certified?
Beth Smith
42:17
So this is for NEW shooting sports instructors?? Do our current shooting sports volunteers that have already been through training need to do this training?
angie holmes
42:56
so is this just for new people? The others have had their "clover injection"
angie holmes
43:56
why do they need this for additional disciplines if they already had it?
Frances Nicol
44:02
If they want to do it in person rather than pay this extra fee, they still can? Or will this be the only option starting in Fall? Winter? Next year?
Gwen Soule
44:09
So if they go to advanced training or another discipline, they do this? Their previous face to face "green injection" does not count, correct?
Frances Nicol
45:48
Does NEW mean brand new instructors/volunteers or those getting a NEW certification?
Laryssa Hook
46:13
So for this fall if they do the online, then is the rate reduced if they arrive Saturday AM and don't have the overnight?
Mary Ann Miller
46:16
I just want to clarify, if instructors don't get additional training, then they do not have to complete this training?
Kay Kramer
47:35
Would the "working with minors" module meet the 1.50 training for our shooting sports instructors?
Danielle M Combs
51:24
Will this training count towards level 2 certificate?
Teresa Johnson
51:54
what is covered in the topics - would it be beneficial for the county educator to enroll
Kay Kramer
52:46
Is it $20 per course? Or $20 for all the modules?
Ashley
56:40
So is this training for all current shooting sports instructors, or is this for anyone going to trainings moving forward?
Aubry Fowler
56:57
If the county isn't paying for any volunteers, do we need to request codes?
Teresa Johnson
57:32
I'm thinking I might ask my 4-H council to pay for my instructors to take it who have already completed training
Kay Kramer
57:38
Would it be beneficial for current volunteers to take this even if it's not required?
Kay Kramer
01:00:50
Does the system send an email if an announcement has been posted? Would there be a reason for instructors to login if they have already completed the course?
Mary Ann Miller
01:01:34
We do have a few "old school" instructors without computers. I'm guessing setting them up at the Extension Office for training or the library would be an option. When we are not quarantined. It will be an obstacle for some of them, just so we keep that in mind.
Jim Mercer
01:04:17
As a summary, This is for new instructor candidates or current instructors that want additional certifications? And this needs to be done before registering for State training (CantersCave ect?)
Kay Kramer
01:04:53
How long does it typically take to complete the course?
Laryssa Hook
01:06:35
If they do the training online in fall, when do they come to the fall training so they don't have to duplicate the in-person?? And is their in-person training fee reduced if they arrive Saturday AM?
Erin Shea Dailey
01:06:43
If people have internet issues, many of the county offices with OCIO have outside public internet access.
Gwen Soule
01:07:36
Our office has OCIO "OSU Wireless" internet and it doesn't even reach all of our office, let alone outside.
Kay Kramer
01:09:22
From the times I have attended, the schedule is pretty intense for the weekend training. It might be nice to spread out the weekend's material to slow the pace slightly and keep the training the same length.
Erin Shea Dailey
01:09:33
Maybe that's just ours...I'm hearing others are in the same boat as Gwen. :-)
Kay Kramer
01:10:19
Maintaining the Friday night also would allow additional networking time.
Jackie Krieger
01:12:17
will we a hard copy guide to our roles and roll out information for our advisors?
Katie Feldhues
01:12:40
took meeting notes-- sending to Jeff.
Kay Kramer
01:14:07
I am guessing the initial email went to educators? I am an office associate, so our educator had forwarded the meeting invite today and asked me to attend.
Jackie Krieger
01:14:13
just what I need :)
Kay Kramer
01:15:00
I am not
Kay Kramer
01:18:38
Thank you Larry and Jeff for all this information.
Erin Shea Dailey
01:18:48
