I have an Amerihybrid Begonia (calypso) that I intended to overwinter. When I dug up the plant there was no tuber. I have been told that breeders may deliberately breed them as tuberless to prevent overwintering. Any thoughts?

I find the chopstick test works for watering. stick a chopstick in the pot. if there is soil on the stick when you pull it out, plant is wet enough. if nothing on the stick, water.

I have canna plants in pots. Can I bring the pot in and put in a cool low light area and bring it out in the Spring? Also, some of them multiply and it is hard to divide. Any tips?
