The Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Cohort is a Student Life Multicultural Center program that focuses on developing personal identity, leadership skills and community building. The program actively engages the APIDA student community by collaborating with student organizations and community members to provide space to share our experiences, discuss our reactions to current events, and build our community here at Ohio State and beyond.
Each week we engage in a new topic, often facilitated by our student members, or collaborated on with APIDA student organizations. Our topics range from current events to historical inequities to how to build community and connection across our inherently diverse APIDA community. APIDA cohort is a space for relationship building, acceptance, and empowerment. We welcome all APIDA identifying students to come together and build community through both engaging in conversation and sharing your own unique experience as an APIDA Buckeye. Please join us!
**APIDA Cohort meets via Zoom every Monday at 6 p.m. This program is a drop-in space. We encourage folks to come every week, but you are welcome to drop in whenever you can!
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Sophia Antoun at firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests made two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
