History of Solidarity
The Civil Rights Movement, American Indian Movement, Chicano Movement, Asian American Movement, Women’s Liberation, and much more are taught as individual occurrences, isolated from each other, if they are taught at all. This program will highlight the ways that activists have stood in solidarity with each other, how marginalized peoples have organized and collaborated and worked toward equity for all.
If you require an accommodation such as live captioning or interpretation to participate in this event, please contact Madison Eagle at Requests made two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the university will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
